A training method for creating and adopting change in an organisation.

BfEAL® by Johtajuustaito.fi offers training for creating and adopting change in the behavior of individuals and organizations. The training maps the needs and goals of the organization, based on which BfEAL® professionals customize a session and a learning board for the organization.

BfEAL® trainers lead a session to help the organizations to remove the obstacles on their way to the desired change.

Learning Goals

The pedagogical analysis covers how the product supports learning of the identified skills. The student’s role is assessed by four contrary pair parameters, which are selected to cover the most essential aspects on the use of the product.

Active
The coaches lead the learning sessions, but as the learning process is aimed to continue after the workshops, learners are challenged to actively evaluate their own learning process.

As all decisions and change commitments are formed and negotiated within a group, constructive interaction is required.

The workshops, which are led by a coach, happen in a relatively linear form. However, the activities allow open-ended problem solving.

Collaborative
Participants will commit to change through their own individual promises. They are responsible for keeping their promise to their colleagues and the organisation. The process is intended be kept transparent, so that the colleagues are allowed to evaluate the level of commitment.

Use of story and metaphors in the BfEAL method helps the participants to free their mindset and use their imagination during training.
Use of light gamefulness in the BfEAL method is well justified and arises from the user needs.

The supported learning goals are identified by matching the product with several relevant curricula descriptions on this subject area. The soft skills are definitions of learning goals most relevant for the 21st century. They are formed by taking a reference from different definitions of 21st century skills and Finnish curriculum.

Our Quality Evaluation Method is an academically sound approach to evaluating a product’s pedagogical design from the viewpoint of educational psychology.
