Passive
Active
Since the user is following instructions and building the Ukulele by themselves, the engagement of the user is really high. In order to progress they need to acquire new information, finish every step and master the tools they need to use, which is great. The product provides the Monster Chords app for practicing when you have finished building it.
Passive
Active
The user needs to engage with the product completely while building. Also, a positive note is that the users need to replicate instructions which help them having to read and understand them to put them into practice. The product keeps up the the user's engagement and interest during the whole process.
Passive
Active
All users will follow the same instructions and build their instrument according to them. The learning process has a clear start and finish. The students can use their creativity in painting the ukulele and decide, how much effort they put to that, but the building process itself is rather linear.
Passive
Active
The product doesn't promote competition between users but collaboration and working towards the same goal (building a ukulele). The solution allows the user to act openly and show their own activity, which makes it also a collaborative experience.
